China, Malaysia to Invest in Pakistan Railways

ISLAMABAD Two high level delegations from China and Malaysia will arrive here next week to cooperate in development of Pakistan railways.
These delegations will meet railways minister and high level officials to scrutinize the ways of cooperation.
Pakistan's Minister for Railways LT. Gen.(retd.) Javed Ashraf Qazi, while presiding over the railways staff conference in Lahore Saturday said that China, Malaysia and other countries are showing keen interest in investing in the railway sector.
The minister said as a result of revolutionary steps in Pakistan railways, the number of passengers is increasing every day.
He said measures have been taken for providing better facilities to the people and as a result the performance of this department is being improved gradually.
